a mystery

"Alright," said Deep Thought. "The Answer to the Great Question..."
"Yes ...!"
"Of Life, the Universe and Everything ..." said Deep Thought.
"Yes ...!"
"Is ..." said Deep Thought, and paused.
"Yes ...!"
"Is ..."
"Yes ...!!!...?"
"Forty-two," said Deep Thought, with infinite majesty and calm.

-- "Hitchhiker's Guide to Galaxy" by Douglas Adams

Unfortunately no one can be told what the Life is, you must see and experience it for yourself. See, look, taste, hear, listen, smell, touch, feel, explore, venture... live your life so that in the end you can say you have lived. What have I written here are parts of my own musings about the life, universe and everything and quotes from other people that I think reflect the world quite well. They may be wrong, they be right, but I'm still living and learning, so they will definetly be incomplete.

a tragedy

"We are all the sum of our tears.
Too little and the ground is not fertile
and nothing can grow there.
Too much, the best of us is washed away."

-- G'kar, Babylon 5, "Objects in Motion"

a comedy

Like the song says, always look on the bright side of life.

Cheer up, Brian.
You know what they say;
Some things in life are bad,
They can really make you mad.
Other things just make you swear and curse,
When you're chewing on life's gristle,
Don't grumble, give a whistle,
And this'll help things turn out for the best, hey,

Always look on the bright side of life,
Always look on the light side of life,
If life seems jolly rotten,
There's something you've forgotten,
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.
When you're feeling in the dumps,
Don't be silly chumps,
Just purse you're lips and whistle,
That's the thing.

And, always look on the bright side of life,
Always look on the right side of life,
For life is quite absurd,
An. death's the final word,
You must always face the curtain with a bow,
Forget about your sin,
give the audience a grin,
Enjoy it, it's you last chance of the hour.

So, always look on the bright side of death,
Just before you draw your terminal breath,
Life's a piece o' shit,
When you look at it,
Life's a laugh and death's a joke it's true,
You'll see it's all a show,
Keep 'em laughing as you go,
Remember that the last laugh is on you.

And, always look on the bright side of life,
Always look on the right side of life,
Come on, Brian cheer up,
Always look on the bright side of life,
Always look on the right side of life,
Worse things happen at sea, you know,
Always look on the bright side of life,
I mean, what do you have to lose?
You come from nothing,
You go back to nothing.
What have you lost? Nothing!
Always look on the bright side of life.

an exploration

On one side I see the life as an exploration to the world, people and experiences. It's fun to learn new things, see new places, experience new things, learn to know new people, find new friends, maybe even love. It's also a dangerous exploration, everything may not be what it seems, you may get hurt, the life may take you down, but hell, just keep on going, you'll never see what's behind that corner, behind that hill, behind that mountain unless you go on exploring.
